Have you ever heard your kiddo say this? Is it a normal and everyday thing to fight with your kid to get them to crack a book? 


Every child is different, but there are a few things that might be behind this "I don't like to read" mindset. Statistics prove that almost all children start out fascinated by books. The desire to read and interact through the pages of a book is instinctive to them. But by age five, when most kids are entering Kindergarten, that desire to read for fun has already dropped by (50%).

That's all well and good, but...

But maybe you think it is too late. Your kids are already in school and they don't want to take the time to sit down with a book, whether that is for school or for fun. For kids like that, sometimes you just need to find the RIGHT book. Sometimes the key is to get kids reading without them realizing that they are actually doing so!
